Since we're all making our own rules here as we go - Goddess Sitre Renenet VIII - 08-11-2015 ~The scene flickers to life with a few etchings and scratchings of horizontal static before clarifying for us the most beautiful display which is of course the recent XWF addition known only as Goddess Sitre Renenet VIII. Her legs are crossed as she leans forward with her chin rested in her palm and her other hand holds a remote control as she flips through some footage that intrigues her. It's from last night's episode of Monday Madness where Kirk MacClay announced that he wasn't going to allow the upstart known as Dustin Diamond Drake to choose the partner he wanted in a Tag Team Championship match against Lux Lyden and Seth Feder. Let's watch together the moment that Goddess Sitre seems most focused on.~ Quote:Kirk MacClay: Well, I don’t see any other option then. Lux, Seth… I now pronounce you XWF World Tag- ~The eyebrows of the Goddess lower; is that confusion, disappointment or increased concentration we're seeing? That has yet to be determined by our viewers as she remains silent. Regardless, Goddess Sitre continues browsing recent XWF happenings and another clip seems to grab her attention; this time a recent news update supplied by Lux Lyden personally.~ Lux Said:"Well, since management wants to play that way and switch things up on me and my partner, I have a request of my own. Call it a demand if you will, and if you want a tag title match to happen at all. I think this match of ours, should be decreed an elimination style tag match. This way when my partner and I win, one of us will also walk out the new X-Treme Champ. Since the X-Treme title is always defended...no matter what, an elimination match will stop Trax's good friend Drew from taking the fall in order to save him the humiliation of losing two things in one night. Plus, with the X-Treme title on the line, this rules out disqualifications and count outs, so there will be no way possible for them to lose the match and still have Trax retain his precious title." ~The right side of Sitre's face is ever so slightly contorted as if she's experiencing disgust or discomfort. She flips through some more footage, coming across a news post supplied by current reigning and defending X-Treme Champion, "Mr. FN' Dominance," Trax. She pays close attention to his words as he scolds his upcoming opponent, Lux Lyden.~ Trax Said:"First off kid, I earned a shot at the tag titles by holding THIS title..." ~The left eyebrow of the Goddess now cocked, her expression remains mostly unreadable. She decides to pull up some other recent news updates and finds one that also seems to trace back to Trax himself.~ an earlier Trax related news bit Said:Trax is hunched in the chair fingers interlocked elbows bent down on knees as he stares down at the floor. Suddenly a off screen voice starts to speak. ~Sitre glances for just a split second to the camera and leans back. She looks down at her remote and backtracks just a little to what Trax was saying to Lux Lyden.~ Trax Said:"Secondly, its the The New Apex , not Operation T.N.A," ~The Goddess smirks and rolls her eyes, flipping her hair back and setting down the remote on the arm of the soft chair she's sitting in.~ "You know it's fascinating to me how certain people around here tend to point out what others missed," ~a quick pouting of her lips as she reaches for a glass of red wine~ "yet those same people seem to have missed or forgotten just as much. No matter; I'm not here to point out flaws or I'd be here for about twenty minutes after all of what I just viewed. I'm here because quite frankly I'm an opportunist and I remember hearing General Manager Kirk MacClay say that he's having trouble finding tag teams - everybody's 'afraid' to team up as he put it. I also see we have a man here in the X-Treme Champion, Trax, who feels as though he's calling the shots; and based on how Kirk MacClay took orders from Trax and kept the Tag Team Championships vacant per his request even though he had already decided to award them to Lux Lyden and Seth Feder prior to Trax's involvement, I think it's quite clear Trax does call the shots. Well… to some extent anyway. Regardless, I'd like to take this opportunity to inject myself right into that tag team match and I expect our brazen X-Treme Champion to have no objections to that at all." "Here's the twist, though. I know I have some proving of myself to do after the way I left poor Ghost Tank high and dry at Relentless. Sorry about that by the way, Tanky," ~head cocked to the right, sarcastic sneer decorating that gorgeous face ~ "So here's how I'm going to prove my worth - I'm going to propose that I am named the special guest referee for this upcoming tag team match and I expect our confident champion Trax to have no issue with that at all. Furthermore, I know Kirk MacClay and more importantly Matthew Oaktree - you know, the actual GM of the show the match takes place on - will have absolutely no problem accepting the Champion's acceptance of my request." "From there, after I've proven my value to the XWF and helped boost the ratings of that show simply by being present and looking as ravishing as I do, I'll select my own tag team partner to take on whichever team emerges victorious under my watchful eye and that match will take place the following Warfare… or Madness; I really don't mind either way. Hell, I'll even give the champions a couple weeks to prepare since I'm certain competing in back to back matches is most likely too much for either team to handle. I'm all about comfort and agreeability, after all." ~Having been swirling it around in the glass while she was talking, Goddess Sitre Renenet takes a sip of her wine, sets down her glass on the table beside her, and leans in very close to the camera with a smirk splashed across her face and her eyebrows raised.~ "Oh, and I heard Lux Lyden mention something about 'going over Kirk's head' if Kirk doesn't grant his wish. Well, Lux isn't the only one who was sought out and practically begged to sign with this company by somebody very high up. So with that said - Kirk, Matthew, Lux and Trax - I do hope I don't need to pull that card and show you that the demand for my mere presence here in this company carries more clout than any of your random whims and haphazard shenanigans you call business decisions." "Now Trax, Mr. Decision Maker, hurry up and announce to the world that you accept and encourage little ol' me to be the guest referee for your match; and don't you dare try and put any stipulations on me in the process the way you tried with Lyden and Feder. You have my word this match will be called down the middle as I will highhandedly eradicate any attempt from anybody to interfere in this match and compromise its integrity because I don't want there to be any doubt that when I claim my shot after the fact, I'm in the ring with the best of the best." ~ now whispering as her smirk turns into a genuine smile ~ "And if you don't believe me… I don't care. We need to help fulfill Kirk's wish for a more competitive tag team division, don't we? Now make it official so it looks like the decision was in your hands all along, oh powerful one." ~A playful and bubbly laughter fills the air as the Goddess pushes herself up from her chair and waves the camera away from her.~ |
