Just looking for some feedback on my latest promo (How we got here on warfare).
Not sure if that's kosher to ask for before the show but ya I dunno how I feel about it.
Here's a link. I'm trying something new with the voices and shit and I dunno if I'm really nailing it. I think it fleshes out Travis more in a way that fits XWF but at the moment it doesn't feel natural so the promos are a fight occasionally.
I also haven't promo'd in quite a while so new stuff combined with a bit of.rust. dunno

So, I finally got to sit down and read this.
I think it's excellent. It actually made me go back and check some of your previous stuff for comparison. You can definitely see some improvement here and some focus on character development. You used the IC plot points from your departure really well, and have a good grasp on imagery.
You've clearly put thought into how to make the character its own and not just another tough guy who will take on all comers. Depth comes with adversity, and you really got that here.
I think it's got a good look to it, too. Good layout feel, unique enough stylings that you can at a glance know "This is a McCoy promo." I was impressed with it and think others will be also.
Great return promo, and I know they will only get better from here.

I honestly wasn't super crazy about it but that might just be because it's a departure from what I'm used to.

But on a real note. I found it to be very good, too. Not as familiar with your older work as Vinnie is, but it will certainly be a challenge. Especially up 2-0 now. Looking forward to a battle
