An Appearance Most Scarlet (RP for the King's Tourney by Sir Nick Mélon) - SolemnIncline - 03-28-2025 (King's Tourney entry for Sir Nick [b]Mélon)[/b] Many moons ago, I did roameth the squared circle I hid mine visage neath an armoured guise Played at a becoming another Beneath mine armour, I wast lofty and perilous, a rogue A wilde beast without equal Lo, mine own seed hath trod thee very path Lo, I doth return, the Scarlet Monarch, to partake in merriments anew I, sir Nicholas, dubbed Caedmon at birth, hath arrived in the year of our lorde, two thousand and twenty five Cometh I, not for a tussle, not for a feud of blood that runneth colde Lo, cometh I to herald the coronation of a new regent Forsooth, it is no time for the Scarlet Reaper, nay, but time for a valiant knight I remain Sir Nick, of bravery and knavery Neither thespian nor comandante of the Roman legions am I I arrive at the Ides, weathered and seasoned A humble knave hailing from th’ realm of chariots On th’ very eve that mine child doth prevail Returneth I, with thee fury of thee gods To unseat all others upon the path of rivening From those, their fair equine companions Lo, notwithstanding many hath cometh heretofore and still many shall cometh thereafter Naught shall accomplish it with the elegance and finesse of Sir Nick Mélon Neither former nor erstwhile rivals may light a flame in my radiant presence I dost possess greater stature, might, wit and allure than all who stand before my countenance Mine blade dost retain a certain sharpness, as doth mine cognizance Posthaste, I must prepare and bid thou adieu Fortune’s favor upon thee |
