OOC: Seriously though, I see where both sides of this argument are coming from. On one hand, this is a website where much, much worse things get said on a nigh daily basis to an indiscriminate collection of people in character. However, Gilmour's repeated use of the word kinda makes it seem like he's trying too hard to get under people's skin, which is where my issue lays. I'll say it here: In character, I have no reservations as to what I'll say and who I'll say it to, and I don't believe that people's individual preferences OOC should exist to censor someone else IC. It starts a slippery slope where someone can say that they get offended at all trash talk, and then they should have to be accommodated for.
However, I do have a problem with trying too little, when you just repeat the exact same insult over and over again. The fat jokes to Gilmour have variety. They don't have the same setup, the same punchline, every time. Cuntinuously (see what I did there?) using the same cunt insult without end is my problem. You do say both IC and OOC that people should come up with new insults, and you should start with yourself, Gilmour.
TL;DR, I approve of anything being said to anyone IC, but don't approve of that insult being the only thing you can say.

the fat jokes are getting old though and its starting to piss me off to the point I dont want to even rp here anymore.. either stfu and end the fat bashing of my character or ill continue to bash ppl IC and OOC.. i dont want to do it for fear of suspension or a ban but this shit really needs to stop! I came here to have fun and improve my writing but to get fat jokes on a daily basis when my character was never fat shows how low you guys are. I know its all IC shit and I should ignore it but its getting old seriously. I changed my character to Adam Cole because I was sick and tired of the fat jokes and I needed a little change from Steen. Not to say I wont ever use Steen again but I felt a change was needed.

But if you say Kevin Steen isn't fat your a liar. He's 5'11 and 240 lbs. In every medical book that's at LEAST 100 pounds overweight according to Medical journals, at 5'11 he should weigh about 140 to 150. So BAM OVERWEIGHT=FAT. Tough shit, you chose that face.. you get stuck with the stigmata. If you can't take it, don't dish it out. That's my opinion on this. Then you wonder why I ignore you when you ask my opinions on your work. I could care less about it to be honest.. because just about every rp is calling my character a cunt, slut, or whore. So I have a tendency not to read it. I tell you what I think you want to hear so that you'll shut up and back the fuck off. But yeah.. I don't think it's right for you to bitch about something people do to you, that you do to everyone else.

OOC: This isn't necessarily the case. Being overweight isn't the same thing as fat. Most athletes and especially almost every single professional wrestler is overweight. Take for example a guy like Ryback, who looking at his billed height and weight, 6'3" and 291 lbs. The ideal weight is between 176-216 lbs, according to this source.
Ryback is 75 pounds heavier than the highest ideal weight, but is the guy fat? Not at all! He might be on more roids than Jose Canseco, Scott Steiner, and Hulk Hogan combined, but he isn't fat.

OOC: I'd like to contradict what you've just said. One of my favorite songs right now is actually "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown.... Yes, the theme song of Madness.... The start of the song (and a lot of the rest of it) is pretty clearly anti my mindset, but I love the song. And there he's expressing what he actually feels, whereas IC insults are one character to another. Hell, plenty of times I've had a character of mine insult the hell out of traits that I actually have. Just don't take it personally.
