It was in the black of night at Greektown on the Danforth where the Christmas beacon that was the Raven's residence illuminated the entirety of it's street. All was quiet inside the house, quiet and still save for the dancing shadows made manifest by the bulbs of string lights decorating it's interior. The children, Ismini and Taylor, were tucked away and sleeping as we're husband and wife joined by their pet fox.

This is Toronto by the way. You know, Canada.

It was standard weekday fair in Aphrodite Incarnate's white picket fence dream come true. The daily routine had daily routined and nothing but the most miniscule of hiccups popped it's heads to try and derail any of their moods. This is a promo however and nothing stays pleasant in a promo for long. Chaos would soon wreck havoc. Probably in the next paragraph.

Suddenly the evenings tranquility was shattered with the cacophony of noise downstairs!

Called It.

Banging, crashing, and few squeaks that probably meant someone and scuffed Atty's goddamn hardwood floors with their effin boots, filled the house and jerked the Goddess from her 8 hours. Striking blue eyes pierced the night and her mind raced to children before slapping her husband wherever her hand landed.

"Tzeims! Tzeims! Wake up! Someone is downstairs!" She beckoned.

"It's just Maid Marion...zoomies...lay baa..zzzzz" James manage to slur before going to back sleep.

"Valakas, the fox is..." Atty trailed looking for their pet usually curled at the door if their bed. He was gone, but Atty new the noise too big for the little furball.

She glared at James before huffing and throwing her feet to the floor with a thud unintentionally alarming the downstairs intruder. She could hear their muffled voices trailing up the stairs and thru hallway. These weren't very subtle intruders. Cautiously, Atty would slink thru her home keeping eyes and ears alert.

She passed her daughters room and took a peek. Still asleep and alone. She passed her step sons room and took a peek. Still asleep and  alo...OMG he hadn't cleaned his damn room. Impulsively she reached down to grab her flip flop to hurl at his head but then recalled she was on a mission. She let the hammer down slowly on her throwing arm and slinked closer to the voices, flip flop still in hand.

Down the stairs she crept when the voices suddenly turned to gasps and Atty was blinded the white of a video camera light and was unbalanced by a boomstick being dangled haphazardly at he head. "WHAT THE FU.." She started to scream. In the midst of it her eyes had caught the logo on about three mens t-shirts.

"Oh go shave an egg I stg... I thought Flynn's union was putting a stop to this bullshit..." she half inquired pulling her arm back flinging her flip flop right the camera's one exposed eye. It connected with a smack.

"I'm not effing dressed.  THIS IS OFF CAMERA TERRITORY!"

"Company policy Mrs. Raven. 24/7 footage.  Everything is on camera still."
