Hello everyone! It's that time we acknowledge and award the many talented people within our roster. Although staff are going to be handling picking the winners, it's always good to see what everyone else thinks. Helping us out could break a tie or add something we overlooked.

Please look at the list below and choose who you think is most deserving, this can be done in a reply to this thread or by DMing me. Write-ins are very much allowed and encouraged, especially for Promo of the Year where we didn't have access to the full year of RPOTM and honestly there's too many great RPs this year.

Wrestler of the Year
Who has had the most dominant/impressive year. Strong title reigns, excellent promos, winner of big matches and superb storylines.
  • Sebastian Everett-Bryce

Look at that uni reign, I mean honestly, what more needs to be said? When you stay at the top for so long, you’re the wrestler of the year in my eyes.

Team of the Year
Which team has had a good run, shown excellent collaboration with strong promos, title reigns and big match wins.
  • The MAGA Powers (Misty Waters and Madison Dyson)

They have the punniest name in the division, and for a guy like me, that goes really far. Not to mention their stellar and delightful yet partially problematic role plays!

Match of the Year
Most memorable match that had strong RPs behind it and was excellently written.

[*]“Micheal Graves” v. Mark Flynn (WarGames)

They don’t call Anarchy the ‘A’ show for no reason. Without a doubt, Flynn vs Graves was a compelling story throughout much of 2024 and it helped headline a burgeoning division on the A show. This match was more than a match, it was a compelling and long running story that helped keep a lot of action on Anarchy.

Promo of the Year
What promo had it all? Amazing character development, well-crafted story, biting trash talk.
  • The Institution - "The Circuitry of Us: Institutionalized"

Really bought into the theme of the show and completely hit it off the charts at every level.

Newcomer of the Year
Who came into the XWF for the first time this year and impressed?
  • James Shark

2 belts?!?!?!? Jimmy 2 belts is my vote all day everyday! He better stick the fuck around. What a proper heel!

Return of the Year
Which character returned to the XWF after some time and made their mark. Did they improve from last time or carry on where they left off? Was their return a cool surprise?
  • Madison Dyson

While I’m incredibly flattered by the nomination, I think it’s a bit tacky to vote for yourself for return of the year. So to maintain incredibly tacky energy but perhaps generate heat while simultaneously casting a completely valid ballot, I vote for Dyson. They have been a very strong performer week in and week out and post a very good W-L record against the fellow nominees. Wins and consistency count considerably!

Storyline of the Year
Was there a character whose story progressed and ended well that caught your eye? Did they involve others and create feuds or alliances?

[*]ELO’s super statistics!

Because lol, math

Locker Room Leader

Never causes drama and always lends a hand. I don’t think anyone in the fed causes as little drama nor lends as many hands, in fact! This was an easy choice.

PPV of the Year
What PPV had the best matches, segments, shocks and vibe.
  • War Games: Fallout

I won, so I’m obviously very partial. Never won a war games before! Than you forever more, my glorious team captain! I hope your back is recovering from that intense carry.

Moment of the Year
What was the biggest shock, return or surprise of the year?
  • John Black becoming the first Revolution champion

A lot of titles come and go, but I think JB did an excellent job sheparding this one into the XWF!

Lifetime Achievement Award

It's not the end of the month, but you're going to get ELO anyway! Or... as much as I can do, because some of these don't really fit for it. It's a good test for my system though for me to refine... one day.

Wrestler of the Year
For 10 months (and 15 before that) one person sat atop the rankings list and repeatedly fought off potential threats in Corey Smith, Ned Kaye, and eventually the man who knocked him off.
Statistically speaking, my vote is apparently going to the man allegedly called "Micheal Graves". With the E before the A.

Team of the Year
A problem for my data, as I have not done a teams spreadsheet. I thought about it once, but the eligibility criteria would be very skewed as so few teams reach 5 matches, even ones who become champions. Still, if I had to average scores out, I would think that the long-term tag champs, Ned Kaye and Prince Adeyemi, would get the win.

Match of the Year
Of the nominees, the highest average score was probably Sean Parker v. Mark Flynn v. Sebastian Everett-Bryce (Leap of Faith). I would probably vote for this if I wasn't taking an ELO-approach as well.

Promo of the Year
ELO doesn't score promos. I wanted to vote for Game Girl, because I greatly enjoy the character, but... that rp didn't win the Captain's match. Instead, I'm going to vote for the character who did, but acknowledge the rp that started it all for them. Winning the Free For All Battle Royal set him off hundreds of rating points higher than the others who came in at the same time, so I would like to acknowledge Sebastian Everett-Bryce - "The Price We Pay". ELO will make sure to keep track of all of the RPs of the Month in 2025 as the boards don't keep track of it.

Newcomer of the Year
How could it be anybody else? Debuting ranked at number 2, with a whopping 1951.22 rating, it's Sebastian Everett-Bryce.

Return of the Year
12 names returned to the ELO rankings this year. The highest ranked did not get a nomination, and I understand why given their role in the federation now, as well as the lack of follow-up. Stats are stats though; it's a write-in: Thaddeus Duke - returning at number 4 in the rankings in September. (Madison Dyson deserves this though)

Storyline of the Year
Statistics! No, not voting for myself. I'm voting for the most interesting statistics battle on the ballot. After both were chomping out our ELO leader's heels throughout the year, the winner of this rivalry seemed destined to eventually reach the top themselves - and they then did. We got 6 months out of this: Ned Kaye vs SEB.

Locker Room Leader
There is no data in ELO for this. Excluding staff, the three nominees here are easily the most consistent at helping out with shows. I would love to spotlight Aurora for jumping in here and doing so much work behind the scenes, despite not having the longevity behind their tenure.

PPV of the Year
The month we got a new number one, and always get a big rankings shake-up: War Games: Fallout.

Moment of the Year
As someone who has been rooting for him since I first saw him, any other year I would give it to Ned Kaye. This year? It has to be Theo Pryce retiring.

Lifetime Achievement Award
I like stats and numbers. I can't feasibly vote for someone using them so dishonestly as our dear leader did, so... Charlie Nickles for a record number of faux X-Treme Championship pin attempts on James Shark.

Quote:Hello everyone!

Hello!

Quote:Please look at the list below and choose who you think is most deserving...

You got it!

Quote:Wrestler of the Year

Sebastian Everett-Bryce

There's just no grounds for any other selection. You can't dominate the entire fed for as long as SEB did and not be superstar of the year.

Held the Uni for over half the calendar year. Mathematically, there's your answer.

Quote:Team of the Year

Ned Kaye & Prince Adeyemi

Literally THE longest reigning XWF tag champs of ALL-TIME. It was starting to feel like no one would ever break APEX's record, but here we are. Truly, Crucible was a remarkable team.

Quote:Match of the Year

WRITE-IN: Sebastian Everett-Bryce - vs - Ned Kaye

I think SEB and Ned told a truly excellent story, just by virtue of the nature of their characters. You could feel the animosity from one side to the other, the respect mixed with the disdain. It wasn't necessarily a fireworks show, but it was the closing match of Relentless and it felt like the culmination of a year-long story. The New Blood coming to the XWF at Free For All, Ned's boyhood dream, winning the Universal Title... It put these two on a collision course multiple times over the year and it came to fruition in a beautiful way.

Quote:Promo of the Year

WRITE-IN: The Reckoning of the Lord by Dolly Waters

This is the correct choice, don't @ me.

Quote:Newcomer of the Year

Johnny Bacchus

It looks like everyone else is picking a different Star of the Year versus Newcomer of the Year, and I can vibe with that.

With SEB as Wrestler of the Year, I gotta give Newcomer of the Year to Bacchus. Truly groundbreaking work with his writing and formatting... There's an RP of his I really like where the lead-up to the finale splits into two simultaneous endings, and I remember seeing that and thinking why no one had ever done that before. Really fun, really thoughtful, really meticulous writer. Excellent work.

Quote:Return of the Year

WRITE-IN: Roger

Who the fuck had Roger returning on their bingo card? I didn't but it makes me the giddiest when I get to read one of his mind-warping adventures. I have a special place in my heart for goofy characters and Roger has a special place in that special place.

Quote:Storyline of the Year
ELO’s super statistics

No double nominations, right? That's what we just established?

ELO's super statistics. As a Stats Guy™, I love being able to cross-reference numbers. To analyze data. It also tickled me how many people reached out to ask me how ELO worked, because who else but me would make something this ridiculous and intricate XD

I genuinely think it makes the game better. It can help the GMs have another data point to make decisions and see the field and who's working hard. Not dispostive by any means, but potentially persuasive. Plus, how many people started RPing complaining about their ranking and how bullshit the system is! That's how you know something's a good story device, is when everyone has a chance to hate it lol

Quote:Locker Room Leader

Aurora

Just a good soul. Someone willing to write a match at a moment's notice, and put all the TLC in the world making everyone in it look like a star. Excellent writer, has improved a ton over the year, but more importantly, them being here makes the XWF a better place.

Hell yeah.

Quote:PPV of the Year
War Games: Fallout

War Games is always the best show of the year. In my opinion, but also, factually, objectively and undeniably.

I know you disagree with me, I don't care. I love War Games like some people like the Super Bowl. It's the ultimate format for storytelling, character development, feud brewing, stable starting...

I'd have War Games every show if they'd let me. I don't care if it'd make it less special, that's how much I like War Games.

Quote:Moment of the Year
James Shark wins the TV Title on his debut and the X-Treme Championship in his second match in XWF

I was starting to get worried I couldn't shout out James Shark. TWO TITLES IN HIS FIRST TWO SHOWS, JESUS CHRIST.

Quote:Lifetime Achievement Award
The XWF as a whole for having possibly 3 separate revolutions going at once.

Why are all you workers complaining so much!?! Don't you think about how all this complaining will affect the managers?!?

Won't someone think of the managers!?!

Storyline of the Year

[*]Ned Vs Sebastian

Im a sucker for Ned, and I thought the way Ned stole it, the stories he finished and then SEB winning it back dominantly really set the tone for the year. The passing of the gentle yet deadly, working man past for a vicious, elite future.

Locker Room Leader
Who, not including staff, has shown passion to help the fed out. Whether it be helping promote on social media or help write matches and prove to be reliable.
  • Aurora

She's role-playing, match writing, and encouraging us all to keep going. Love their commitment to this hobby.

PPV of the Year
What PPV had the best matches, segments, shocks and vibe.
  • War Games: Fallout

Definitely my favourite PPV of the year, I don't collab enuf for this business and this PPV just shows me just how much Im missing out. Everyone pulled out the stops, from the roleplayers to the match writers. We definitely need more forced Collab work, maybe a randomised tag tournament or something.
[*]Moment of the Year
What was the biggest shock, return or surprise of the year?
  • Theo bidding us farewell

This son of a gun has been so instrumental in keeping me here. He highlighted some of my talents and flaws when I first came in as Danny Imperial, said we should work together. And then did the same thing when I returned a few laters and didn't even know who I was. He paired me up with people he thought would be encouraging, and constantly gave me feedback. And that's just me. Theo carried this dang gang on his back for so long, I was quite sad to see him go, but really glad he's gonna enjoy his family and life more for it.
