Oz stood in the middle of his training ring. The darkness from the courtyard filling the room, with a beam of moon light coming through the windows like a SWAT team helicopter beaming light to search for a fugitive on the loose. When the light began to shine upon him, he slowly danced as if he were in a ball room, dancing with Alysia, enjoying a good old clean waltz together, except even though his hands were in position, no one was there. No one even slid from under the ring to meet him. He was just dancing as long as the light of the moon shone upon him.
Once the light disappeared and his training room was once again full of darkness he spoke...
"On Anarchy, I dropped the ball for our team. However, I learned to not promise your partner too much, lest you underperform and the reputations of your best friends takes a hit. As an aside, I'm sorry about that Bobby. Won't happen again, brother. Same to you, TK.
With that out of the way, welcome back!"
The lights popped on, with the fluorescent lights bzzing to life as they come to life.
"Inquisition. Another match. I'm surprised you continue. Most choose other playmates, but you came back to me. This time on a PPV. Are you sure you want to try me, yet again? Well, it's time to make a promise to you. One I will perform in handily.
My promise to you is thus:
I will break you apart. You will leave me alone. You will face off against other people, while feeling the doubt creep in, the thought of 'do I deserve to be here in the XWF?' The answer is going to be no. However, you will be welcome to try and fit in. Not when I'm around, of course. If I have to pass by you, you will bow in respect. That is the extent of what you are to do in my presence. I will not tolerate 'grudge' match, simply because you are not worth holding a grudge over. Shit, being on the preshow is a slap to my face. Almost every single match I perform in, is worth the main PPV. Even greats have off days. This must be the one where I shouldn't try.
Where would I be though, if a two time Star of the Month winner didn't try to beat the shit out of his opponent, even on a pre-show? I am the Shepherd. You, the lamb. Now it is time to follow me.
You know not the fire that is within me. I am the ONLY roster member who has been here since 2014. 11 YEARS of blood, sweat and motherfucking tears, have led me to those opportunities. Have led me to become champion several times. Have led to great friends and worse enemies. If me paying back to the company that shaped me into the man I am, means going against what essentially equates to cannon fodder, then I shall do it. Because if me going up against you, means shaping you into a better wrestler to help carry on XWF's legacy, then fine. If it means that I get to put down someone who is barely worth the company's time, then fine.
What I'm saying, is that you are facing the XWF's oldest fucking General, and if you don't give me every goddamn bit of your being and FUCKING FIGHT ME, I will grind you into paste. You will be nothing as much as shit on a sidewalk for people to step in. An annoyance, nothing more. Not a threat. Not intimidating. Just plain... boring.
I expect you to throw everything you've fucking got! Because I WANT it! I NEED it! I WANT A FUCKING FIGHT!
Do you think you have what it takes to give me that goddamn fight!?
DO YOU THINK YOU CAN WALK INTO MY LAND, NO MAN'S LAND, AND NOT HAVE TO PAY THE PRICE TO TRAVEL HERE?!
At Rebellion, you are going to become nothing more than a goddamn jobber, always laying on your back, staring at the lights, with barely anyone chanting your name.
So I'm going to tell you this only once, Inquisition.
At Rebellion, you are not going to have a good time. I promise you that. I promise that when that bell rings, that you are going to have an existential crisis in the fucking ring. 'Am I good enough?' 'Should I continue being in the XWF?' I am going to make you feel so much pain that I'm going to tell you exactly one thing, so listen closely...
I advise, that you pick a God..."
Oswald then places his palms together and lowers his head
"and pray."
The camera cuts to black.
