So I just started watching the second season of The Punisher. In it, one of the main antagonists is named John Pilgrim and he's portrayed by Josh Stewart. Anyway, there's a scene where you see him change his shirt and in that scene, they focus briefly on his tattoos, in order to establish a point. These tattoos are clearly Nazi related. Which I found thoroughly entertaining, for obvious reasons, lol. My brother-in-law, who's aware of my writing and the characters that I use in the XWF, turned to me; slightly laughing, after the scene ended and asked... "Isn't that the guy that you use for your Nazi character?" this question literally made the moment. Someone outside of the fed, who doesn't rp and has never rp'd in their life, recognizing the entertainment value in Josh Stewart, playing the part of a white supremacist. Fuckin' golden.


I felt that I needed to share that with you all, lol.

Dude on the show is super creepy. I'm about halfway done with it, but he's a great character.

If you dig the actor, I recommend both The Collector and The Collection. Also the short lived, super hero, television show, No Ordinary Family.

I've enjoyed this season so far, Josh Stewart as John Pilgrim has been a good side baddy. Bringing Billy back was smart. I really enjoy the role the character of Amy plays and how she helps to keep Frank on his toes and at times make him feel uncomfortable. However I really really hate when Frank breaks out that loud obnoxious voice he does when he goes full Punisher. At times it takes me out of the scene.

One thing I appreciate about Billy is that they could have gone the cliche route with him and have him come out of his coma in beast mode ready to kill Frank. But instead they kept it realistic and had him come out as this broken fucked up shell of a human being who couldn't even remember why these people hated him. The show overall has had the same pacing issues as the other Marvel stuff (why did the plot with Pilgrim just seem to vanish for like 3 episodes???), but overall it's still one of the strongest entries in the Netflix Marvel cannon. I hope they don't axe Punisher and Jessica Jones like they did the others.

Oh they're all canceled. Disney wants to revamp.

Same with The Gifted on Fox , The Runaways on Hulu and most likely Legion on FX.... all canceled. Reason: Disney wants to redo it all.

No joke. All Marvel Netflix shows are done. Including Punisher and Jessica Jones which has yet to pop out season three. After which, the show is terminated.

This also will transfer over to The Gifted, Legion, Cloak and Dagger, Runaways and probably even Agents of Shield. Though since I hate Agents of Shield it'll be the one that lasts.
