Little did Christine notice Smoke standing on the edge of the roof a little away. He was semi-crouching with an almost empty glass of coke in his hand, and his other hand pointing to the street. He was yelling:

YOU ARE AN ANT AND I AM A GIANT.

IF I HAD A MIND TO, I WOULD CRUSH YOU!

It's then he notices Christine and blushes a little, his intake of sugar made him very hyper. In other-words, as close to drunk that Smoke would voluntarily get.

Christine: Do you think the petty little ants heard you? Do you think they understand? NO... they are all just mindless zombies.

She smirks.

Christine: Good to see you again but in my domain this time. This is where I feel the most comfortable. I guess no one really appreciates it. They would rather make fun of what they don't understand. They would rather make themselves look like a fool at someone elses expense.

She then looks back down as she smiles.

Kevin: Ohhh... that's fucked up! Especially coming from a Mexican Batman! ... You gotta have the most ghetto weapons in that belt!

Batman: Fuck you Kev... Oh wait... Just a sec...

-Batman gets his Bat Broom and pokes up towards the ceiling to get Christine's attention-

Batman: Hey can you fix my satellite while your up there please? We're getting bad reception in here.

-Hunter Wayne and Kevin continue to mock each other as the party goes on-

Smoke, perhaps overreacting to just noticing Christine, almost falls over the edge. He laughs it off after both feet touch the ground. He walks over to Christine and sits next to her. He looks down at the ground as well, placing his cola to the side.

Welp, if they're zombies then they are pretty well dressed zombies, I'll tell you h-what.

Smoke takes a long glug out of his cola before putting it back down.

Might as well sit up here and cool off anyway. You went with me to the coffee shop that one time I think it's only fair to chill up here with you for a bit.

Christine: Sorry... Just irritated. I don't even know why I go to these things. They are all the same. People treat people like asses and ignore people. It is getting to where I don't know who I can trust or who my friends are. I am tired of being one in the corner who is just here and no one freaken cares. Besides... These things get so boring.

She looks down.

Ah, no problem. People are asses because they like to think they are better than everyone else - as if the smack talk will actually prove anything. As for no one caring, you have a boyfriend don't you? As well as a team you can rely on. And even then if you don't think people care about you, make them care.

Smoke looks at Christine, who is still looking down, with a smirk.

And yeah, I suppose these parties are boring. Not sure why I came anyway. I'm not that much of a party person.

He turns back and slightly pushes away his glass.

As opposed to what it may seem.

Nah, not really. I've made some... friends here I guess. Maybe the correct term in acquaintances, but nobody I can really rely or depend on. Not sure if that's the case because I haven't been looking, or if it's because I'm doing something wrong. Either way, though, I found I'm fine by myself. It's not like I'm trying to go for the Tag Team Titles or anything.

He chuckles at that last sentence as if it was a joke, looking up into the night-sky as he does.

She looks down a moment.

Christine: Not sure where my boyfriend is. But I know when I go home... I will have a nice welcome from the cat.

Well, I'd probably say that that's just luck. The first time was a chance encounter at the park and this time was me on a sugar rush shouting at pedestrians from the top of a building in the middle of the night, while you were here to get away from the party.

He laughs a little.

Yeah, I guess I can think of you as a friend as well. If I wanted to throw another reason in it would probably be that we were in the War Games match together - you know my debut match - on the same team. And we ended up winning that. Albeit thanks to Cam but lets not talk about that, shall we?

And I'm assuming a 'nice welcome from the cat' is him glaring at you until you feed him and/or letting him sleep on your lap. Because that's what cats do, don't they.

He wraps his lips around the straw and swirls up a load more cola.

Smoke looks over his shoulders to see John, his eyes widening as he does. He carefully stands himself up and walks away a little from the edge, closer to John. He holds out his hands a little, ready in case Austin stumbles a bit too much.

Woah, are you okay there man? I think you might have let this party get to your head a little with that wine.

Smoke walks over to where John is sitting and stands there. He shares a glance with Christine for a sec before looking back at John.

I don't know much about getting drunk but I think eight Smoke Men is a good indicator that you've drunk too much. I think you'd better get home now and sleep before you have one hell of a hangover to deal with in the morning.
