I feel as though a match of this caliber could sell more tickets than Senator/Punk II. Now hold on, don't take that as me disrespecting CM Punk. I respect Punk's abilities, but right now there's something holding him back from reaching his full potential. That something is Paul Heyman and Monday Madness.

Yes, CM Punk defeated Ann Thraxx, but who hasn't? Is that the best Paul Heyman can do for you, Phil? CM Punk, do you honestly believe that was a high profile match that you put on at High Stakes? Please, Phil, save yourself the embarrassment and don't try to say that it was. You can do better than that. Ann Thraxx is just cannon fodder for the Monday night crew-- you know this. She knows this. The locker room knows it and they're laughing at you.

You need a match that means something, and I can get that for you. Why would I do such a thing? Well, I guess that I like the idea of me being able to groom Paul Heyman's own talent. Perhaps it's an ego thing.

If you're going to challenge The Senator, you need a win that means something. That way when you stand toe-to-toe with the third best wrestler in the company, you can say with confidence that you're better than the competition. I bet Paul E. never laid that piece of advice on you, did he? He really does just let you walk around looking foolish, doesn't he?

That's what you need CM Punk. You need a win that means something, and Paul Heyman isn't capable of getting you there. The man has just lost it; he doesn't know how to build stars anymore. He'll send you up to the peak to get picked apart by the eagle and then send you all the way down to the bottom to feed on minnows like Ann Thraxx. He thinks that this will boost your career, but it doesn't. Do you honestly feel like a champion, CM Punk? Don't lie to me. We both know you feel worthless and that calling out The Senator is just you going through the motions all over again.

Yes, Peter Gilmour and Mister Mystery do have a rematch written into their tag team contract. However, they have not yet set a date. So in the meantime, why don't we see if these "fluke victory" remarks hold any merit.
