Just wanted to take a few moments and mention a couple things.
First of all, I wanted to officially welcome J.T. Washington to the GMing staff. He's going to be partners with Colton Kato on Savage (and in life) to help make sure we can have the level of quality and timeliness I look for in XWF shows.
Jefferson Jackson and Jane will be your go-tos for Warfare, same kind of deal in place there. They each bring something unique to the table to help keep the shows up to muster.
Keep in mind, we all still work as a team across shows, this isn't a Warfare versus Savage scenario. Those two teeams will just focus on their assigned show primarily, working as backup support for the opposite show when needed, same as myself.
All four of the GMs are on equal footing, they can all make decisions on 24/7 interactions, give warnings or rewards, etc. When needed I'll step in, but I anticipate everyone will show the proper amount of respect where it's due. I'm always around to talk to anyone who needs it as well, so don't think I'm just hiding behind my underlings.
Point Two:
I've noticed recently that a lot of characters are dipping more and more into some OOC territory. This is a no-no. Sometimes it can be tough for people to separate fantasy from reality (Gilly) and sometimes people can just think it's fine and dandy because they're just messing around.
Remember, you are not your character. You might know something about another handler that you learned via PM or a post in OOC, or even offsite like on Skype or Facebook. You knowing those things does not mean your character knows them.
If I'm judging a roleplay and I see someone throw out a verbal jab that there is no way in Hell the character could have had any knowledge about, well that's OOC and I'm not going to grade it very well. I HATE having to DQ roleplays or take off points for silly stuff when I can tell someone put a lot of effort into their work. It makes me feel bad. I also REALLY hate having to take administrative action on people for breaking rules, so, like, don't.
Of course, if somebody says something on an IC board, all bets are off, that's fair game.
Cool?
Crack on, gents.
