The moon still hung high in the sky as I stumbled from the wreckage. Blood ran down my face and arms as i fell to my knees next to a river I had ran next to when being chased by Zak. The only thing in my mind right now was the words from Zak about Damien. My eyes closed and I released a sigh.

Damien......

I pushed up from the ground and stood tall once more. Heat flashed in my body and I felt it run in my veins, was this my pain? I walked from the river out to a gravel road before reaching the main road. I needed to get these cuts to stop bleeding and I wasn't going to be able to do it with out help. There were to many cuts and I was already feeling to weak to take care of every one of them. I still remembered where Damien was staying here, if I could get him to help for just a- My thought didn't finish before I hit my knees and fell over choking on blood and saliva. He wouldn't even be friends with a mystical creature. I laughed as I rolled over on my back.

Fuck you.

I pushed up from the ground again and held my side once more. It wasn't a far walk, in fact, it should be coming up soon.


I stumbled across the green grass before getting up to the door of a little house off to the side of the road. I removed my hand from my side and knocked on the door. Before I could fall back to the ground Damien answered.

I fell to my knees and I could feel my body being pushed to Damien's. I looked up at him and sighed.

I need these to be covered. I've lost to much blood and...

My eye lids felt heavy, my body started to go completely numb.I remember being told that when I lost blood it was quickly replaced but...why did I feel like this? Was this death? Had the human part of me really gotten her wish?
