Luke Gunnar is standing around doing nothing. Suddenly Manu the Maori Warrior is walking towards him twirling his taiaha (spear). He walks straight up to him, and they stare at each other. Suddenly Manu backs away. From his pocket he takes a leaf. He puts it on the ground in front of Luke, and hovers his taiaha over the leaf.

"He wero tenei mou, tangohia tera leaf, mena ka tangohia tera leaf, ka pai to wero. Ka taea e koe te tangohia te leaf?"

"I'm challenging you to a match, pick up the leaf, that symbolizes our challenge, but if you don't pick it up, I will follow you around until you do.

"Will you pick up the leaf?"

Manu walks away backwards watching Luke as Luke looks down at the leaf. The challenge has been handed out. Will Luke accept the challenge
