When I heard Piper died I had to stop what I was doing as a tear came to my eye. Even though he was a villain, perhaps the greatest villain of all ties. I remember seeing him live at The Anaheim Arena now known as the Anaheim Convention Center. After his match he walk up to me and gave me a huge telling me he really wasn't the bad guy he just plays one.

God Bless you Roderick George "Roddy" Toombs, one of the greatest Canadian wrestlers of all time all though he was billed to be from Glasgow, Scotland
