There have been times I edited or moved/deleted something and then had to go right away because I had a potato in the oven ready to burst, or a pizza on fire, so then later that night I'd eventually remember to send the person a quick note or something. I doubt the intent was malicious.

As for the images, there are rare instances where an edit of a post can throw the spacing of some things off elsewhere in the post and if that happens inside an html tag it can break it. Another error that happens is if you use the "quick edit" more than once in the same viewing of that page, it won't remember all your edits and can mess things up. Only use quick edit for a 1 and done QUICK edit. Use full edit for the rest.
