There are a lot of no shows, and several of them really hurt the PPV.

Day Two of the show saw 4 of its 6 participants completely no show. That's not acceptable.

Look, I know shit happens. Sometimes life gets in the way. We all understand this. But if you're busy, or foresee yourself being busy, don't opt in. Or talk to Frodo or Maddy or myself and let us know what's going on and we can discuss a plan of action. We're always willing to work a match or an angle to help give you some time. Trust me, I''d rather write a backstage segment where someone gets injured and has to miss time than write another match like LeStrange vs. Shade.

When you are a habitual no-shower, and you guys know who you are, you'll get made to look like an idiot in the shows. You can ask anyone who's been around a long time, I'm not somebody who likes making people look bad. I try to make everything fair and fun for all involved. I WANT people to be involved. But you can't waste our time and effort with consistent no shows. It hurts the product and it pisses us off.

Warfare and PPVs have TWO WEEKS to RP. There's NO reason to have any issues being unaware of the deadline days or being able to get something up. If you actively plan to wait until the last day to post and you screw it up, that's on you. Everyone knows by now that the deadlines are ALWAYS the day before th show date at 11:59 PST.

So here's what's going to happen. As I said, if you have a habit of no-showing, you'll be made a fool of in the shows. If it happens three times without somebody being talked to ahead of deadline, you're going to get a temporary ban from opting in. Probably a month or something similar. That's only two Warfares, so it's not as long as it seems.

If you no show a title match, you won't be in another one anytime soon.

If you no show and I see you in the XWF Skype room chatting every day? I'll boot you right out of it for an undecided amount of time.

I think this is fair. Nobody has any fun when people opt in and don't show up. I'd rather have a card with only one match on it that gets RP'ed for hard.

You also saw in the LoF booking thread how some folks wanted to be in more than one match, and then barely showed for the one we allowed them to be in. This is all shitty. We let people double book or run multiple characters, but if it starts to make the show suffer, or we feel like you can't handle it, we won't allow it.

Obvious exceptions are Luca and Rayne, because they won't listen anyway.

Was that directed toward me, Frodo? I plan on showing as both Kandi and Jake on Warfare this week as well as Kandi and Drake on Savage. So please if that was directed toward me, don't worry I always show.

I agree with all of this.

I've missed two shows recently, my own fault but just had issues for both that stopped me from getting anything in. Both times I did reach out to the people and some staff to apologise and let them know, felt quite bad but also annoyed as I was enjoying taking my character on a journey at the time. Apologies again and appreciate the writers who wrote those two matches and didn't make me look bad.

The more activity here the better, motivates and excites me more to get roleplaying even on days I'm completely swamped with real life stuff. I love that buzz.

I am glad there are steps being taken to stop constant no-showing.

There is nothing worse than being a writer and busting ass to insure a win only to have someone just no-show. Yes, the match is won but it's a hollow victory. The entire point of federations like this is the competition. If every match was a sure fire win then there would be more one sentence role-plays and the entire fed would be shit.

I entirely agree with Lane and Frodo about the steps they want to take to secure people who actually want to compete and those who just want to fuck off and waste everyone's time.

Life gets tough and things get hectic and I understand this 100%...BUT it takes two minutes to let someone know shits going down. Yes LIFE before the XWF. BUT be courteous to everyone around you. Unless your house burned down and you lost everything or you get anally raped and you are busy dying in the gutter, there is no excuse to not notify someone that you won't show up so they can try and save the show for the sake of OTHER PEOPLES ENJOYMENT.

I was getting anally raped by a fireman in a gutter outside my house while watching it burn down to the ground and I still managed to get out two rps for lof. So those really are not good excuses.

I was sick as a dog, still went to work, still fucked my wife and STILL got an rp up for the ppv!

I think there is only one person this rule would really apply towards and it's crimson dong. I know most rules don't apply to him but this seems appropriate given the recent circumstances. Although it's impossible to ban him so will have to think of something else.
