The scene opens up to reveal a large wall covered in the XWF logo. Wearing his typical business professional attire, Steve Sayors stands in front of the camera with a microphone in hand.

“Welcome, XWF fans, to this exclusive interview! Please welcome Thomas Nixon!”

The camera pans slightly to the right, revealing Thomas Nixon standing at the side of Steve. Nixon is wearing regular street attire, a gray v-neck and a classic blue pair of jeans.

“Steve, it’s a pleasure to be here and make your acquaintance.”

Steve pauses, surprised that an XWF wrestler would actually deliver a pleasantry.

“Thanks, Thomas. Let’s get to the point here, Alexis Riot told the XWF Universe that she has developed post-concussion syndrome. As a result, she’s only going to have two more matches here in XWF before she stops competing in the ring. You’re making your debut against her in just a couple of days, what are your thoughts?”

Sayors extends the microphone towards Nixon.

“Watching Alexis Riot address all of her fans was really tough for me. You have a young athlete that’s had a short career tell her fans that her passion can ultimately take her life, and she’s going to have to walk away from our sport.

That’s not something that anyone wants to hear. This is a truly heartbreaking story. Even if you don’t like her, it’s hard not to sympathize for her. I addressed the XWF fans this week, and I told them that Alexis doesn’t have the heart and the passion to win. Well, it looks like she does care about fighting here, but her passion is to a fault.

Now, I want to talk directly to her; I’m going to be straight with you, Alexis. You’re making a huge fucking mistake. I don’t want to be in the ring with you with the condition you’re in. I want to make an impact on XWF when I get in the ring, but I don’t want it to be this way. You put me in a position where every time I drop you on your head, I’m putting your life at risk.

I don’t want my debut to be historic. I don’t want my debut to be infamous.

For your sake, Alexis, I want you to get through our match. I don’t want to be the man that’s known for killing you in the ring, especially when you’re already on your way out of the business. For that reason, I’m pleading for you to think long and hard before our match.

I want you to go home to your husband and your son and look them in the eyes. You need to tell them that you’re willing to risk being a wife and a mother. For what? To go out with a bang? Alexis, you don’t have any personal grudges that you need to settle. You don’t need to get vengeance on me. We have no hard feelings. Don’t leave your four year old boy without a mom for the rest of his life; you have no reason to take that risk.”

Thomas loudly sighs and shakes his head.

“Are you going to treat her differently in the ring because of her condition?” Sayors askes invoking another loud sigh from Thomas.

“No. No, I’m not. After she announced her imminent retirement, she made it very clear to me that she wants a fight. I think it’s absolutely careless of her to fight two more matches, but if that’s what she really wants, I’m going to give her a fight.

I sympathize with her pain and the emotional turmoil she’s going through, but I don’t sympathize with her rude mischaracterization of my cause. She scoffed at the pains that myself and the lizard people are still going through to this day.

I didn’t expect her to be so juvenile, so intolerant of a cause that the XWF fans seem to be willing to defend. The people cheered when I held up the insignia of the reptilians, and that feeling of acceptance will not be forgotten by me and my people.

Alexis can call me crazy and out of my mind, but her true fault was insulting the people that cheered for her for months. She said that the movement I’m starting won’t hold a candle to her legacy, but she could not be more wrong.

I’m going to liberate tens of thousands of lizards from their oppression and usher in a new age where humans and reptiles can live in unity!

That is quite a bit more substantial than her short career that is highlighted by holding a belt that the majority of XWF stars have won.

Alexis believes I’m insane. The fact that she’s putting her health on the line to try and go out with a bang after an unspectacular career shows that she’s truly delusional. No matter what happens in your last two matches, with the exception of dying in the ring, there is no way you’re ending up in any hall of fame or on a list of the greatest XWF wrestlers.

Quit while you’re ahead.”

With those serious words, Nixon walks off the set, leaving Steve Sayors to sign off to the XWF fans.

“Make sure to tune in to Savage Saturday Night where Thomas Nixon and Alexis Riot will battle it out in the ring! Alexis is looking to leave the company on top and Nixon is seeking for a win in his debut! This has the makings to steal the show! This was Steve Sayors with an exclusive XWF interview.”
