Backstory/Important Character Details:
James Marshall was born into a very rough childhood. Shortly after his birth, his father abandoned him and his mother. With his mother raising James on her own, they had to move to a more affordable neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York but it still wasn't enough. While his mother was struggling to make ends meet and provide for him, she turned to drugs and alcohol as a form of stress relief. As the years went by the drug usage worsened. James was unable to be enrolled into school and was home schooled for a while by one of his mother's friends from the old block they used to live in.
Eventually, his mother began to lose friends and family members due to her addictions, personality changes, and not wanting to be helped. This included the friend that was assisting with homeschooling James. Things only worsened once his mother lost her job and turned to prostitution. Shark's 2012 documentary on HBO highlighted this point in his life as he remembered watching strange men coming in and out of his home at different hours of the day. Some of these men would rob their house and even abuse his mother.

At age 10 he would lose his mother due to an overdose. James would jump from foster home to foster home until the age of 14 when he decided he was better off on the streets. He had no choice but to be an adult from that age onwards as he was introduced to a lifestyle of crime and violence to earn income. After a while it became obvious he had a talent for fighting as he would spend his years street fighting for cash, fighting men twice his age. He gained some notoriety online and eventually got noticed by a wrestling promotion called the NLWF - making his in-ring debut at 19 years of age in 2009 While he made a big impact in his debut and would go on to win a few matches, he would eventually go on a wide spread losing streak once he began to face off against the top talent in the company. An old injury that reemerged made matters worse for him as he had to be on the shelf for nearly a year, causing the NLWF to let him go.

However after surgery he would return to wrestling in late 2010, signing with the IWF and get major attention with his 'Trash Talk Royalty' attitude which was talking a whole lot of smack and backing it up. He would go on to capture every Championship in the promotion and also return to the NLWF to find success.
Shark went on to wrestle for a number of different promotions and gained a lot of attention for his controversial comments online and in promos which equaled more eyes on his matches.

Despite his popularity with the fans he was very adamant that he only did this for the money and did not care for the fans or the sport overall. This attitude would explain his on and off retirements as when the money would start to run out he would return to wrestling again. He would retire from professional wrestling for the final time in 2014 to pursue a career in MMA.

Strengths:
Able to get into his opponent's head due to showboating fighting style and antics.
Incredibly precise and accurate with his striking.
Able to measure distance effectively and dodge/counter opponent.

Weaknesses:
Technical Wrestlers.
Tends to get a bit overwhelmed with High Flyers since he can't stand and brawl.

Entrance Theme Music (Provide YouTube link as well as name and version):
Demons - Tech N9ne

Ring Entrance (PLEASE write one out for use in match/show writing):
Demons by Tech N9ne begins to blast on the arena's speakers, accompanies by a mixed reaction from the crowd.

I'm an angel-slash-demon
What makes me a demon is lust, I'm girl crazy
and that's why I couldn't keep my wife
And that's the lust demons living within me
And uh, but my heart, love big
So I know a lot of demons come to my shows, as well as angels
A lot of demons, a lot of demons, a lot of demons.

The sound of a huge explosion shakes the arena as flames shoot up from the stage for a few seconds. His silhouette can be seen behind the flames as he comes out of the curtains.

When I was one, and a two, and a three, and a four
I knew I was a special one who had a little more
And they wondered why I was plotting, rotten to the core
It was nothing but an itty-bitty demon
There's a demon inside of me! Can I kill it? Hell nah!
Can I kill it? Hell naw! Can I kill it? Hell nah!
There's a demon inside a me! Can I kill it? Hell nah!
Can I kill it? Hell naw! Can I kill it? Hell nah!

As the flames stop he walks forward and takes off his black shirt before throwing it into the crowd as he walks down the ramp. Shark is talking shit as he’s making his way towards the ring, his cuban chains swaying around his neck, as he walks past one of the cameras the broadcast can pick up some unpleasant words about his opponent.

His music continues blasting, the fans screaming out “HELL NAH” every time the chorus hits. Shark slides into the ring and runs over to the farthest turnbuckle before jumping up and landing on the second ropes. The feed switches to one of the cameras located in the upper level of the arena, it begins to zoom all the way down to Shark as he stands still, zooming until there is a close-up of his face. A devilish smirk breaks his seriousness as he jumps off the turnbuckle and begins to shadow box.

In-Ring Style (Technician? High Flyer?):
Brawler / Showman

10 or More Standard Moves:
- Jab - Hook - Uppercut - Elbow - Headbutt - Inside Leg Kick - Push Kick
- Spinning Back Fist - Spinning Back Kick - Flying Knee - Dirty Boxing
- Overhand - Clothesline - Shoulder Block - Baseball Slide - Dropkick
- Elbow Drop - Fist Drop - Knee Drop - Punt - Stomp - Head Kick - Palm Strike
- Power Double Takedown - Headlock Takedown - Suplex - Judo Hip Toss
- DDT - Crucifix - Backbreaker - Neckbreaker - Stunner - Spear
- Sleeper Submission - Butterfly Guard - Guillotine - Kimura - Armbar - Heel Hook

Trademark Move Name(s):
SHARKBAIT
Description(s): It's never safe for an opponent to be laying on their back with Shark standing over top of them as it could set up James Shark's signature move: SHARKBAIT. This is where Shark jumps over their opponent's guard and lands a superman punch. If connecting successfully; not only will the opponent get cracked with James's fist but the back of their head will also bounce off the canvas. Double Impact.

Finishing Move Name(s):
PAID IN BLOOD
Description(s): Shark's finisher used to be a flying superman punch, he's switched this up a little bit for his return to the ring to make it a flying elbow shot. At the last second he is able to take his elbow out and if connecting, there is not only a high chance that he will knock his opponent out cold, but also a high chance he will leave them in a pool of their own blood due to being cut from the sharp elbow.

Favorite Hardcore Attacks/Spots:
James Shark isn't the type that uses weapons, but if he does he usually has brass knuckles hidden somewhere as most of his moves revolve around striking / punching - other than that it would be the basic chair shots. However he prefers to use his hands.

Additional Notes
(What are some things that they would ALWAYS do? Or would NEVER do?):
James Shark is a product of his environment, he doesn't trust many people - just like he doesn't like many people. Hating is in his DNA and he loves to talk shit. He'll hate on anything he sees and isn't afraid to speak it out loud which rubs a lot of people the wrong way for getting in other's business.

You would think being horny is also in his DNA because he will hit on any biological female in sight.

However for a person that talks so much shit, if he is beaten fair and square, he will give respect where it is due even if it is a rival. He'll respect the in-ring ability but won't respect the person behind it.
